First of all, from the perspective of wood processing, the risk factors include mechanical hazards, wood biological effects hazards, chemical hazards, wood dust damage, fire and explosion hazards, noise and vibration hazards. 

Most of the safety technical measures for woodworking machinery include:

1.Stability: The mechanism of the machine tool should have measures to fix it on the ground, table top or other stable structure

2. Control device: 

a. Each operating position of the woodworking machine should be equipped with a stop control device that stops the corresponding dangerous moving parts of the machine tool.

b. If the inertia of the tool spindle is in danger of contact with the tool during operation, an automatic brake should be installed to make the tool spindle stop in a short enough time of less than 10s

3. Workbench and guide plate: For machine tools that push the workpiece by hand, the processing of the workpiece must be supported and positioned by the workbench, guide plate, etc.

4. Tool and tool assembly: When installing and adjusting the tool, the tool spindle that can cause rotation and cause injury should be protected.

5. Safety protection device: According to the specific structure of the machine tool, adopt fixed, movable, adjustable or self-adjusting, group enclosed or fence type safety protection device:

Control mode: mechanical, photoelectric, manual, multiple types. The safety protection device should be able to protect the entire working range of the machine tool.

a. The knife shaft and electrical appliances of woodworking machinery should have a safety joint control device

b. The machine tool with the risk of workpiece ejection should be equipped with corresponding safety protection devices

c. If the transmission device is likely to cause danger, it should be installed in the box as much as possible, otherwise a safe square number device should be installed to align the dangerous parts.
